III Lions Balloon Festival
11- 13 September 2026, Belogradchik Rocks
Flying for Bulgarian children
Lions friends from all over Europe and the world are uniting to fly in balloons over
an amazing natural phenomenon for the sake of Bulgarian children!
Belogradchik Rocks – a place where every stone is magic, and every rock comes to life,
illuminated by sun rays and charged with divine energy!
Join 3 days of adventures, sharing emotions and creating lifelong friendships,
reserved exclusively for the Lions community and their friends!
All net incomes collected from the adventure fee and balloon flights, and all humanitarian
donations at the festival,will be used by the event organizer – Lions Club –Vidin
for the benefit of the children from Northwestern Bulgaria.

During the festival, free flights over the Belogradchik Rocks
will be organized for children and young people with disabilities.
The flights will be carried out with airplanes and balloons!
Participation in the festival is open to all Lions and their friends or relatives
upon registration for the event and payment of the fees:
Adventure fee: 180 euro

Humanitarian contribution: €100
Per Participant
Each participant is asked to contribute €100 to support the humanitarian programs
of Lions Club Vidinin sake of the children of Bulgaria.

Transfer
Transfer from the airport to Belogradchik and back to the airport – at the price of the fuel.
We can arrange volunteers to meet you at the airport and drive you to Belogradchik for the price of the fuel of their cars.
The festival will be held entirely outdoors in a field among the rocks just 5 min
walking distance from the square of Belogradchik.

Where the balloon is tied with ropes to the rocks and goes up to 77m above the ground.

where the rocks are usually visible from distance.

When there are two or more options in the program you’re free to choose, which one you want to take part in.
All Net Incomes
from the Lions Balloon Festival will be used by the Lions Club – Vidin to support the children from Northwestern Bulgaria.
